I just bought a case for my iPad pro 11 on Amazon. The Apple case is way to expensive, come on, 119$ CND is overpriced... SO turned into Amazon. Well I bought one, but it's bulky, it holds the pencil in place.
And from what I've been reading, most people are usually complaining about the weight of those things.
Can't someone think or a great case for the iPad pro?

Totally agree about the Apple cases being overpriced. I always buy 3rd party cases. Just bought this one from Fintie on Amazon for my 11” ipad pro. Only $8.99! Love this thing, not only for the price, but the functionality. It’s not heavy. It protects the corners without adding bulk...and it has an awesome elastic pencil holder on the back. I prefer this to the plastic snap in holders on the top of some cases.

Thanks, I bought something that is about the same version, It's still 250 grams. But they seem all the same. I miss the smart cover for my iPad air.. 85 grams :-(

I bought a Lovvitt case through Amazon for my iPad and am very pleased with it. I got a clear rubber case that has not changed color. They have a number of different permutations of cases for various iPads and iPhones.
Giving more money is not necessary and saving money is not a crime.

Well isnt that because the smart cover for the air didnt have a back? So that is kind of an unfair comparison.

I bought the Otterbox 360 and very happy with it! Yes, expensive but if you pay big bucks for an iPad Pro, why go cheap to protect it!

This is why people buy the Apple cases. They are generally the thinnest you can get while maintaining quality. I tried a bunch of the keyboard cases on Amazon and they were all bulky and less intuitive than Apple's. Everything on Amazon is pretty much from the same Chinese manufacturer just with different branding. If you want something decent, you need to buy from the established companies like Logitech, Otterbox, etc.

I have a Targus VersaVu on my 11” IPP. It is quite chunky but while I never had a case on my previous iPad, this feels ok. It seems to offer decent all round protection but it has a stupid hole in the back to show the Apple logo. I have read that while the pencil sticks to the iPad, it doesn’t charge. I have no experience of this myself and I would have liked a pencil some day.

I don't have 11" but I do have the 12.9 pro. On it for most of the time as surprisingly been the Fintie case, mine is the composition one. I do have the smart folio which is great as it's so thin & very professional looking, but offers nothing in the way of protection. I do have the Otterbox symmetry as well, which does add protection, but the bulk was just annoying. When I travel, I will use the Otterbox, but any other time it stays off. The Fintie is a compromise of sorts with both cases. It has a little protection with bumpers on the edges, and a thicker back, but it does add that much bulk.

Also I was surprised by how much I use the pen holder in back.
