Adobe has apparently confirmed that the iPad Pro has 4GB of RAM...

During Apple’s keynote, we also demonstrated the extraordinary speed and precision of Adobe’s Creative Cloud mobile apps on Apple’s new iPad Pro. iPad Pro is great for creative workflows with a high res 12.9″ touch screen display at 2732 x 2048 pixels, A9X chip, and 4GB RAM. The optional Apple Pencil was designed for iPad Pro and can differentiate between stylus touches and finger touches. This allows apps like Adobe Comp to use fingers as modifiers while manipulating objects with the stylus.

Now you can run 500 tabs at once without them ever refreshing. :)

I can't find any other source that corroborates this besides this guy, so I'm skeptical. It really should have 4GB of RAM, though, at that price.

I have no idea, my comment was that there aren't any other sources on this.

The source is Adobe, not just a blog company. Adobe like others top tier companies were given early access to the iPad Pro to develop their apps to showcase during their keynote today, so they'd have to know everything about the product to optimize their app to hardware and software for lag free experience.

The iPad Pro definitely will have more that 2 GB of RAM. Those who watched the keynote should pay more attention. Case in point: during the 3D4 Medical demo, the speaker clearly says, "thanks to the increased processing power and *increased RAM* we are able to show these animations in real time." Since the iPad Air 2 has 2 GB of RAM, that would mean that the iPad Pro would be at least 3GB of RAM, but most likely 4GB.

The statement has been redacted, so we'll see.
