Anybody awaiting the ability to jailbreak iOS 9.1? I don't understand why the jailbreakers don't just wait until the iPad Pro and TVos is released before releasing their jailbreak but I guess what we have now is better than nothing.

I like the bigger real estate on the iPad Pro and want to be able to play my video game emulators! Anybody else looking forward to an iPad Pro jailbreak?

I guess I am not understanding this statement.

The jailbreak for 9.0, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 was released on October 13. Apple stopped signing 9.0.2 on October 28th and on Nov. 11th released the iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro comes with 9.1.

Are you saying that the jailbreak for 9.0 to 9.0.2 should have been held until 9.1 has been jailbroken?

Or are you saying that the jailbreak for 9.0 to 9.0.2 should have only been released AFTER the release of 9.1 and the iPad Pro?

You do realize that there is no jailbreak for 9.1 right?

Releasing a JB after the iPad Pro launched would mean no iPad Pro owners could take advantage of the jailbreak and no one not currently on 9.0, 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 could update and jailbreak. Waiting for a JB for 9.1 would have people upset that the "jailbreakers" were holding a JB they could use or could have used right now.

The "jailbreakers" do not have a jailbreak for 9.1 Apple patched the exploits. That's why they released in October before the release of 9.1. So the maxmimum number of people could upgrade/update and jailbreak.

Your statement makes no sense whatsoever to me.

Because the exploits were patched with the 9.1 release.
So they used them for prior iOS versions while they still could.
It doesn't mean there won't be any jb releases for 9.2 or future iOS versions and doesn't mean they will not attempt to jb the iPad pro.

If I remember correctly the first two 9.1 betas didn't patch the exploits it wasn't until after the jailbreak was released that the exploits were patched, so my point was that if they would have waited until 9.1 came out to release the jailbreak that would have been optimal.

Anyways what I was really wanting to know is anybody excited for an iPad pro jailbreak if/when it is released?
