iPad Pro keyboard and battery life?

i know with the smart keyboard attached uses the iPad pro battery but does it drain it much when only being used as a Smart Cover/Case?
Or am I better swapping it to a Smart Cover only when not on sing it as a keyboard?

The smart keyboard doesn't even have a backlight. No. You won't have to worry about battery life

The smart keyboard doesn't take barely any power...it's no worry at all...good job on apples part....

The keyboard only works when the iPad is snapped into the typing position. So I figure it is only taking power then as well, which it requires very minimal anyways.

The Apple smart Keyboard and the Logitech keyboard use the iPad Pro's battery but has 0 impact on the iPad pro's battery life.
