iPad Pro kicked my Air 2 off my night stand.

Had to take a pic of my Gold iPad Pro on its matching gold Twelve South HiRise Stand charging stand. A slight mod and that was all it took for this stand to work solid with the Pro. Even works with the iPad Pro case folded back to display screen. It has officially kicked my Air 2 out of rotation. I have now incorporated the Pro into every aspect of my daily use in and out of the office.

Please excuse my ignorance... Does it do anything with it being 'stood' ? Why would you want it in that form while sleeping?

Charges the Pro over night and keeps it at arms length for checking email, playing music or videos all while looking like a piece of modern art. I can also screen cast to my flat screen in my bedroom while its charging. It also is great for hands free siri activation. I wake up and and ask siri about my schedule, weather, activate music,etc.. Even a alarm clock with weather maps. Its probably the best place for a tablet while charging over night and still being able to use it while the iPad Pro itself doesnt take up much nighstand space as if it were laying flat. Its like a ultra flat billboard suspended upright next to the bed. Its all that and a bag of chips

I have 6 gold stands all over my house and office. My wife has her Air 2 on her side of the bed in a silver stand. They are top quality and made out of metal. Apple store has them.
