iPad Pro Magic keyboard OS requirements

Hello,

I would like to know if the keyboard (just the keyboard) on the magic keyboard will still work on iOS 13.3. I got one yesterday and the only thing that works is USB-C power pass through. When the iPad is attached to the keyboard there is no signs of power (No backlight/cap lock key light).

Want to compare to someone who has tried this on a lower OS. Trying to make sure my keyboard isn’t DOA. Thanks in advance!

does anyone know the iOS gesture to open an app from the dock in slide over view using the trackpad? I get how view slide over (i.e. use one finger to swipe the pointer past the right edge of the screen) but not sure this works without touching the screen.

I can't find it anywhere besides macrumors for the requirements. The box or apples website does not say....

My refurbished iPad didn’t come with 13.4 installed and the keyboard wouldn’t work until installed. Which makes sense given the cursor support addition.
