Hi, just wondering if anyone has come across a perfect copy of the iPad Magic Keyboard. Everything seems to be like the original- including logo, charging via iPad etc. I just have strong suspicions from the one who sent it, that it may not be real.

I have not had a chance to connect it to an iPad yet, as I don’t have it with me now.

I am trying to read the serial number off the case, but it is unreadable and it’s in the wrong box.

Has anyone come across this before, or am I just being suspicious to nothing.

He also sold it for quite cheap.

There are perfect exterior hardware copies of the iPad Pro, AirPods Pro, and power adapters. A keyboard is nothing.

Thank you for your reply.
I’m not sure I understand though.
You mean to say that it could be a fake?

There is no equivalent to magic keybord. Non of the copies use the connectors that are specific to apple and requires a brand to pay apple if they want to use them. Only Logitech is using it and even then, it doesn’t have a charging port to charge the iPad. Everything else is Bluetooth with it’s downsides.

The serian number printed inside the original magic keyboard is very difficult to read, you need to check it, in the iPad's settings menu
