Just let me make things smaller. I feel like I have a 70 inch tv 12 inches from my face. I can't see the whole screen
Then maybe you are better off with an iPad Air?

maybe but no damnit I wanted the pro lol. It's ok I'm along for the ride and I enjoy it. I was just drunk and grumpy the other day.
I use my iPad Pro to read in bed, but not in a lying down position. Never did that with the Air either. What I do is sit back, raise my knees, and prop the iPad on my knees. I just use my hands to keep the iPad from slipping off, but not really using them to hold the iPad up. I can also type on the on-screen keyboard in this position, in fact, typing this post right now that way.
Muscle memory accounts for a lot with me inside my brain. Having to switch to a different color and size keyboard every other app I open is difficult for me. Typing is a bit painful at the moment. I feel I'm not alone. And no I don't want a exterior keyboard if I did I'd buy another laptop
For me, Facebook notification are something I can live without. Actually so are many of the other apps I have that feature disabled. Just my take...others may not see it that way.I don't know about Amazon but the Facebook and Twitter apps offer notifications which are not available in Safari on iOS.
You're not alone. I quite agree - I'm very much a creature of habit when it comes to keyboards. I want everything to sit under my fingers where I expect it to be.
That said, if I have to do any serious writing, I reach for a laptop. And I did find the Smart Keyboard to be acceptable when testing it in the Apple Store (but didn't buy it - see my previous sentence). When typing on the iPad, I tend to turn from a touch typist to a two-finger typist, which is about the only way the on-screen keyboard is bearable. But I completely agree with you - I've noticed the keyboard changing between apps, and it bugs me. This is not what I expect from a company that claims to have Human Interface Guidelines.
I love it.
I'm lucky enough to own an Apple product from almost every product line and I have to say the iPad Pro is one of my all time favourite purchases. The iPP has been with me for almost a month and it has been used everyday since for browsing, email, message etc.
Myself and the family recently spent 4 days in London with my family, on these short weekend breaks I take along a GoPro and I usually edit the video using Final Cut Pro X whilst returning on the train/plane. This weekend break I only took along my iPP to see if I could edit, share basically everything I usually do on the MacBook Pro with the video.
I decided to go with iMovie (which I have never used on iOS) and it seemed to work perfectly. I did however find a few restrictions which really bugged me but coming from FCP X I was expecting this. As I was train I started to browse for reviews on other iOS video editing apps, I decided to go for Pinnacle by Corel. Pinnacle did everything I needed it to do.
I managed to edit a 4ish minute video, add music, images and upload to YouTube all within an hour and share to friends and family before we returned home.
I look at the iPP a little differently than any other iOS device, I look at it as a normal laptop (hear me out). Yes, it runs iOS which offers an abundance of apps but I honestly can not see the point of these dedicated apps. My thoughts are why would I install a Facebook, Twitter, Amazon app etc when the full websites are so large on the huge screen.
At this moment I am seriously considering selling my 15" rMBP, everything I have needed to do I have managed to do on the iPP.
Hi, whats your method of exporting from GoPro to Ipad Pro?
I shot 40 mins virtual at 1080p 60fps in MP4 format, I can't say I checked the free space but I didn't get any alerts during editing (128gb iPP)I'd also like to know this, and also your thoughts on storage space, what video format have you been using (i.e., 1080p/60fps) how much free space have you been using up for roughly how many minutes of raw footage?
thanks
Use astropad with your iPad Pro and iMac and you can use the iPad pro as a wacom cintiq as well.

I exported to my Synology NAS via DS File app, I could have also uploaded to iCloud and pulled it from there.
Sorry about my lack of knowledge - You mentioned you were on a train with only wifi, a GoPro and your IPP. So, I assume that the footage is streamed wirelessly from your GoPro to you IPP via the Sinology app?
