No one would consider purchasing an iPad Pro instead of a MacBook. Two different devices, two different purposes, two different operating systems.

So whether one has a better processor or one has a better keyboard doesn't matter. It's like comparing an iPod to an iPhone. They may look rather similar, but one is for phone calls and the other is for music. Unlike Microsoft who is struggling to find a purpose, Apple isn't trying to create some hybrid tablet/notebook. So when people complain about the iPP's shortcomings "as a notebook replacement" or the RMB's shortcomings "as a tablet replacement" it's a waste of time.

Except when the CEO Cook goes forward to say the PC Laptop is dead and states the following "The iPad Pro is a replacement for a notebook or a desktop for many, many people. They will start using it and conclude they no longer need to use anything else, other than their phones." So in essence if he goes on to say that then YES I can compare the Macbook to the Ipad Pro, why can't I again?

And for the record I did consider buying the IPP, but reviewed my usage and utilization and picked the Macbook. After the cost of the Pencil, keyboard they are roughly the same price actually making it that much easier of a comparison. In the end you are really just comparing OSX vs iOS, do I even need to state which one wins?

It's Gordon Mah Ung and Apple that's oil and water.

I respect his opinions on many things but Apple is just not one of them.

Soooo.... Any differing opinions here since 2015 regarding the iPad NOT being more powerful than the rMB???
