iPad Pro iPad Pro Pencil possible bug w/IOS 11

Since upgrading to IOS 11 I’ve noticed that I can no longer edit text with the Pencil without backspacing to the character or deleting the full word and re-entering. I used to be able to hover over the word (just like you still can with your finger) and pick the character and edit using the Pencil. I don’t seem to be able to hover with the Pencil on any apps since upgrading. Using an iPad Pro 10.5 with IOS 11.0.1.

Anyone else having the same problem or have a fix.

Just did it in notability, had not tried that before. Does not seem to work here though.
