What is going on with the iPad Pro 256gb pricing? On Saturday they were $799 at both Best Buy and Amazon. Now they are $899. The 64gb version is $674. I’m so confused.

Back to MSRP then. Actually, I think MSRP is $949 so that's still $50 discount on 256GB.

I'm completely lost on what to search for regarding ipads these days. How many versions of the 10.5 ipad and 9.7 ipad are out now?

There is only 2 iPads with the 10.5 screen. The iPad Air 2019 and the iPad Pro 10.5.

The iPad 9.7 comes in 8 generations. 1,2,3,4, Air, Air 2, 5th gen and 6th gen.

Which one of those 9.7" ipads are compatible with a apple pencil? Do they all work with the same type of keyboard?

The 6th gen iPad is the only one with pencil support. I don’t think any iPad 9.7 is compatible with the Smart Keyboard. Also I want to add the 9.7 iPad Pro . So there’s 9.

6th gen is 1st Apple Pencil supported

iPad Pro 9.7” has a Smart Keyboard available, but it’s smaller than the 10.2/10.5” version with smaller key spacing of course.

To put it another way, the 10.2/10.5” and 11” Smart Keyboards are full size 18 mm, but the 9.7” Smart Keyboard is not.

Apple refurbished iPad Pro 11" 256 GB is US$809. As mentioned, regular price is $949.
Yeah, I was asking why the prices I mentioned above changed overnight. I didn’t ask about refurbished anything or the price at Apple. I’m not sure what response I’m supposed to give you.

I think I’m going to just wait them out.

6th gen is 1st Apple Pencil supported
Doesn't the 9.7 also support the apple pencil? Also which one supports that logitech apple pencil?

I just said yes. The 6th gen supports Apple Pencil gen one. So it supports that Logitech one
So the sixth gen is the same as the 9.7 ipad pro? Also only one specifc ipad supported the logitech apple pencil.

I think I had the 9.7 pro and it had the smart keyboard port also.

Does apple have a spreadsheet with all of these models?

The iPad Pro 9.7, iPad Pro 12.9 gen 2 and 2, iPad Pro 10.5, iPad 6th gen , iPad Air 2019 , iPad mini 5th gen support the 1st gen Apple Pencil

TY!

I'll assume the ipad air 2019 and ipad 6 are 9.7 screens since they're not listing 10.5.

That being said I think the ipad 6 base model is on sale for $250 at walmart.

Pretty solid deal.

You need to start another thread

The point is that you can have your pricing right now at the refurb store.

You think $1349 for a tablet is a great deal? Can't you buy an iMac or MacBook for that?

It’s not amazing but it’s pretty good. If you read between the lines he’s talking about the 12.9 1tb model. That’s like $200 or so savings.

They just run occasional Specials, sometimes tied to a holiday, sometimes random. Best Buy does "Black Friday in xxx" sales, where the price will drop to $799 for several days, and Amazon will follow. They end when they end. During one of these, Best Buy mis-priced the the 256 all the way down to $674 for a few hours. I've found no real rhyme or reason to it, you just have to check often, and grab it at $799 if that's what you want to do.

For 1TB 12.9” tablet that is capable of 98% of any computer?... yes, yes I do.

So $400 off the MSRP isn’t amazing but $200 is? lol
