So I’ve had my iPad Pro in a Spigen case for almost 6 months. Took it out this week and noticed the rear of the iPad is a different color around the logo, it’s much lighter colored. Anyone see this before?

Ok and the fact that you have a case that doesn’t have that cutout and therefore does not allow this to happen on yours helps OP how? Or am I missing something and your case has that cutout?
OP - initial thought is oil buildup causing discoloration given that you haven’t noted if or how you’ve tried to clean it. If not the next thought is staining due to some kind of oil or chemical (sunscreen etc.). Not sure what to offer in terms of solution at this point as it’s a cosmetic issue. If it were me i’d just slap the case back on and ignore it or I’d apply a skin to the device.

Guessing the Spigen case had a hole showing off the Apple logo? My brother had the same issue with his iPhone 6 Plus.
Probably a result of sun bleaching/fading. Don't think you can recover the old color but you can prevent it from getting worse by getting a case that covers the entire back.
