iPad Pro iPad Pro - Shipping Thread

Guys, my iPad Pro will arrive in a few days. I’ve been using iPads without screen protectors for years and have never broken or scratched one. Do you think it’s worth buying one for my new iPad? How tough is its glass in comparison with older iPads?

Well, it’s definitely thinner. I don’t use a screen protector. But, if you really want to protect your iPad without AppleCare+, go ahead and get one.

I reccomend the Zagg one. Had one on my old iPad Pro, worked great for a long time.

Whats the status of ur ipad pro . Mine still not shipped. Estimated delivery 28-05th november

I'm in the same position as you. I've been using my iPad Pro for a month now without protector. I still feel anxious about it. Before using pencil I wipe with microfiber cloth. Here in Turkey there is no such a thing Apple Care so I'm still going back and forth for buying a protector. 3rd party cheap ones are really.... cheap and useless. 😂 On the other side I couldn't find a better one also.


Last but not least what if I dont like the protector? Does putting it and then removing it effect the screen at all?

Till yesterday it was showing this on my replacement .
But from today morning it is showing that 'we will update the delivery date when we recieve the return.
Why it is showing this , is this an error or i should talk to the apple.
My ipad was picked up on 7th october then why its showing again this

Contact Apple Support. I don’t know why it’s showing that.

I also keep being taken aback by how small this thing feels. It’s the 12.9” and yet it feels small (not in a bad way - it’s just way more portable than it really should be!)

Mine just went to preparing to ship this morningm it took a day to arrive for you after preparing to ship?

maybe Apple is catching up to demand now? I can only hope! Mine isn’t due for delivery till Nov 10-17. However they must be getting better because I ordered on the 26th night I think. When I went through some pages of this thread the wait time was closer to 4-5 weeks rather than 2-3.

Contacted them , they are saying dont worry your ipad is with us. And will be delivered within the time frame. And Call us after 5th november (delivery date) if not recieved .
But the thing is not looking good for me. Hope it deliver within that date

Did you guys also receive them all directly from China? I got a DHL tracking number 2 days ago, and regularly check the status. It hasn't moved from "shipment received" 2 days ago...
