iPad Pro Smart Connector w/ Smart Keyboard Issue

I have a 10.5” iPad Pro w/ the Smart Keyboard. For the past few months, connectivity between these two has been spotty. It seems that this may be related to the Smart Connector on the iPad, as they look a little worn. Anyone have these issues? What can I do to restore the Smart Connector’s conductivity? I’ve included a photo of the smart connector. Thanks, in advance.

Bump...making my iPad much less useful.

This has been fixed by software update. I’m unsure why nobody else has complained of this, but software update fixed it, as far as I can tell.
