I'm glad you like it. I'm on the fence on this one. I need to use it a few more days to make up my mind.

It's is stupid fast. Feels just as fast as my Air 2. Screen and sound are gorgeous. I find it a bit too heavy. I've been spoiled by my Air 2.

I played some XCom on it. Outstanding. I noticed some screen animations I had not seen before. It plays silky smooth. I tried some other games. Some older games don't work right. Some older apps don't either. That's a shame. I hate getting on this perpetual upgrade cycle.

I may return it. Right now I'm 80% keeping it. We'll see if that changes over the next 14 days.

I was committed to my purchase - got mine engraved :)

I love the device. A major use case for me is reading PDF documents and most of these are originally sized to be A4 or US Legal. On an Air they are scaled down and tough to read easily without cropping or panning. On the Pro they are pretty much 100% scale and a joy to read.

Games are good, too. All those old games which were a little too fiddly to play on an Air (for example, Settlers) play great on the Pro. And the sound is amazing. Rich sounding and proper stereo reproduction. It transforms the experience!
