With more and more stuff moving to the cloud, I find myself needing less storage than I used to. I’m no longer a ”buy the biggest storage model” guy any more.

I just went with 128GB! I have an iPhone XS Max with 256GB and I barely use 1/3 of it (I thought I needed it because I was always running out of space on my old phone) and now I regret paying for that much storage. Even though I plan on using my new iPad for movies, editing, and work I tend to put things I haven't touched in more than 4 weeks in the cloud/on an external HD, and once I watch a movie I typically do not watch it again that year.

I ordered the 1TB model. It’s probably more than I need, but I’ve hit the limit on my current iPad at 256GB on occasion. When on trips I like to download a lot of content to watch on the long flights.

I'm using a 256GB 10.5" iPP and I'm currently hitting the cap, as I download a lot of videos to it (internet kind of sucks for streaming, so it's much better for me to download overnight and watch it the next day). Thinking I might stay with 256GB for this one, though with 512GB I wouldn't have to worry about space as much...

If you're located in the US and are okay with the older 2018 Pros, the 512GB Wi-Fi Pro 11 is currently on sale for $849.

Oh man, that sounds so nice. Unfortunately, I'm currently working/living abroad in China, where Apple products are ridiculously marked up. Honestly, if I do end up picking one up, it will probably be when I'm able to make a run down to Hong Kong, or if I'm on a business trip back to the US.

Thanks for the heads up nonetheless!
