Probably a dumb question, but going to ask it anyways!

So with the new iPad Mini Retina have the same resolution as the Air, is it safe to say that the Mini's screen will appear to look better than the Air?

The retina Mini has a higher pixel density, so yes, it will look better than the Air.

Yes, but only to super heroes and other mortals with super human eyes, I mean, with both displays having pixels that mere mortals' retinas cannot detect....
