Has anyone else had this happen. My iPad for the first time since launch dropped to 10% battery, I plugged it in to charge it, before i went to bed. I place it on the stand and noticed it was rebooting. I waited. My wallpapers were the same but the front page icons were default with the message on how to move em, while the rest of the icons were all over the next 6 or 7 pages. I had to spend some time reorganizing, but I never seen this happen before.

I was charging and went to open the ABC app to watch something before I went to be. What is also odd, is the device seems a little snappier now. I have turned it off and rebooted it 4 or 5 times before. What causes this?

Haven't seen that on my iPad. My 2g iPhone will do something similar when the battery gets too low. Get the dim red battery indicator, plug it in, and it reboots. As far as the icon dance...dunno.

No, but I did just experience my first iPad crash. I was watching a video in atomic web browser when suddenly the screen went black for a second and then the boot screen came on.

Something similar has happened to me as well. I decided to drain the battery yesterday to condition the battery. I fell asleep watching the ABC app and found it drained in the morning. I plugged in the power cord and the battery indicator immediately read 5%. I proceeded to use the iPad until it decided to reboot itself. At first I thought it was a glitch so I let it reboot and tried to use it again but the same thing happened a few minutes later. So I left it plugged in and left for work. When I got home it was fully charged and it hasn't rebooted. Now it's working normally. I'm wondering if this is a bug with when an iPad gets below 10% power it starts to do this. Can anyone else confirm?
Btw there was no data lost and I am using the iPad adapter.

It sucks you didn't catch it before the morning. Maybe it is something that will be rectified with an update. I will just have to make sure it doesnt drop to 10% again.
