Hello everyone,

I downloaded sketchbook pro today and noticed the only canvas sizes were 1024x768 and 2048x1536. The second resolution is what I need to create backgrounds for the retina iPad but if I want to create an image for a 1080p YouTube video, what would I do? Would I just create it at 2048x1536?

I believe you are correct. You'll have to work on the larger canvas and crop or scale down. I've not used it in a while, but I've read this same complaint by many others. At least you're not using it on Android, which supposedly has only one canvas size and it's not nearly full HD.

What video editor are you planning on using the pics in?

The very basic windows movie maker.
