IPHONE 4 Setting off security alarms
Well I am really getting pissed off with my iphone 4 as it sets off the security alarms in stores. A few weeks ago it happened when I was shopping with my girlfriend and of course I got searched by the rentacops lol. It happened at three different stores the first time and I thought it might be a freak occurance. Well this past weekend it did the same thing. I set off the alarm at Macys and three other stores. I even tried turning it off and no avail. I also noticed that I have to reset my sim lock after. This doesn't happen everytime but usually after the phone sets off the second alarms system. I called apple and they want me to bring it to a store (1:45 min drive) but that is almost a day of my time. If you mail it in you are stuck with paying for shipping but for a 69.00 fee they will upgrade your coverage lol. Why should the customer have to pay anyting for a phone that is defective? I did point out to the apple rep that this could be a huge problem for apple as what happens if I get tackled by a rent a cop due to their phone setting off alarms for no reason
. Anyway I did see that someone else is having the same issue and I just wanted to let everyone know that this might be a bigger issue as there seems to be more than just me with the issue.
