Seen a few images on the web, I'd like to use as a wallpaper on my iPad. But i want to get the resolution right( 1024x1024). Anyone know any straightforward tools to use to do this?

    On a mac!

    Cheers

If you Google around there are some websites who will do it free.

First of all, I'm assuming you meant 1024x768, right?

Second, there's an online image editor you can use.. it's fairly straightforward:

    I used Photoshop however.

    Thats pretty cool! Thanks

Thanks Kloan, Im still struggling however to make it look as it does on the net on the iPad

I think the Native iPad resolution is 1024 x 1024.. Thanks in advance

I thought it was 1024x768, but you have to make your wallpapers 1024x1024 because of the automatic flip when you rotate the ipad, or you'd end up with black bars or a stretched image.

You will have a hard time with a lot of images due to the pixel cropping that the iPad does when you change the orientation of it.

Import the photo into iPhoto then export it at a custom size.
