iPad Smart Covers???

Hi,

I just bought an iPad Air 5th gen. I remember there was the iPad Smart Cover (only covering the screen); can't seem to find them anymore, only the folio, which covers from and back.

Does someone know where I can find Smart Cover for the latest iPad Air?

Apple only makes these for the regular iPads, or those that have a curved/rounded edge (Air 3 and below). The magnets for those are on the side behind the curve. For the iPads that have a squared edge, like the Air 4/5 and Pros, the magnets are only on the back, hence the back cover.

Since there are no magnets on the side, I don't think you'd be able to find one from a 3rd party either. I have the Folio for my Pro and don't mind it. One nice thing about it is that it hides the camera bump so the iPad lays flat.

Yeah, no smartcover only option any more. I ended up buying a third party folio for my iPad Air Gen 4:
