Hello,
5 months ago I bought a new 2019 iPad Air. I have also bought a second-hand but never used Apple Smart Keyboard. Since day one there has been a connection problem, where I would need to push my iPad to the left when it’s connected to the ASK to make it work.
I figured out that the problem comes from the keyboard not being correctly aligned with the iPad - the ASK is not exactly in the middle of the iPad and its pins are not touching the connector unless the iPad is pushed by about 1 milimeter. What helps is using a Spigen Thin Fit protective case which is cut to make it work with the SK. This way, the case pushes the keyboard to the middle of the iPad and I don’t need to.
I would like to know if there is a way that would make the SK’s pins touch the connector at all times, even when I don’t use a case.
