iPad speakers, using Apple's "Remote" app

Can the Remote app play music to my iPad? I know it can control my Mac, but that's downstairs. I would like to listen to what I have upstairs.

Can this be done? I don't know if it's just a setting change, but I don't see one.

Really? Thanks, I will have to search for a good one then. I don't know why I haven't looked yet, but I thought it did this (Remote app) already.
