iPad split keyboard

So I browsing with my iPad today and I noticed the keyboard was split.... When did this happen?

IIRC, since iOS 5. ICYDK, you can drag the keyboard down from the bottom right button to the full keyboard as well.

If you put your thumbs on the keyboard and drag them toward each other, it will merge the keyboard together again. If you do the reverse, it will split it again. Good for people with tiny hands.
