Ipad synch wirelessly with Macbook?

Does anyone know how to do this, do you need a wireless hub?

At the Apple store, the trainer had his Iphone synched with an Imac using Keynote to display slides and to teach from.

Is this possible for the Ipad? And How?

That's the Keynote Remote app for the iPhone. It doesn't do anything beyond controlling Keynote.
