For those who have not yet ordered, it looks as though 250 Tesco stores will be selling the iPad from 00:01 according to the Tesco Direct website.

I am pissed about this, had I known, I'd have not pre-ordered
How do you know that there will be a Tesco store near you selling it, and would you rather go out in the cold and stand in a line instead of just waiting at home for a delivery?
Tesco has over 2800 stores in the UK - less than 10% of them are going to be selling it.
I live in Cheshunt, the birthplace of Tesco + am 5 minutes away from one of their largest stores.. I'd be shocked if they werent selling it.
24hr tescos let you wait inside for midnight launches. So yeah. Bit gutted but meh Im happy to be getting one delivered tommorow.
use the store-locator and the one's which have iPad listed as being stocked then they should have one.

Not necessarily true, phoned up my local and they claimed they do have stock and they aren't listed on the store locator as an iPad store, he happened to have a list of the two/three stores which hold stock tonight... It is a rather big store but not a extra store so not sure...
I have already a pre order for tomorrow, but thinking to go grab one now... Is it easy to literally walk into apple store and get a refund ... Even if bought online?

It's shows up on the main page, among others. There's no list as far as I'm aware. You just have to ring the store or ask "@UKTesco" on twitter.

Same, Just asked in my local store, they have them. And surely apple stores will take a refund w/ invoice, they'd be jumping at the chance to have more stock.
No point in using the Twitter address - they've gone to bed...

Says up to 14 days on their website you can have a refund... Just was concerned they'd give a gift voucher or something so relatively comfortable with getting one tonight if I can get my hands on one not looking to queue jus pass by and see

I'm off in 10 mins. I'll keep you updated. Guess it depends on the area and how many people know/are prepared to go at midnight. The lady I spoke to on the phone was expecting a "rush" on them. I don't believe that to be honest. I've been to various supermarket big releases and it's so quiet you don't even know where to go half the time. Wish me luck. 32GB wifi hopefully.

Update: found someone. At electrical department. First in line. Only 3 others come over time. Guys already let me have a play prior to launch.

I think if it is ordered online you will have to arrange with Apple a time and date for them to pick up the iPad. I don't think they will accept return in store. I needed a replacement for something faulty I bought from the on-line store and they wouldn't accept exchanging it in store. Might be different for iPad though? This was only 3rd party accessory
None in my local even though I phoned up earlier and they confirmed they had some...oh well, got one coming tomorrow Probably saved my hassle of getting a refund .
