iPad UK Tesco Midnight Launch

Update: got the model I want. Guy just had to wait till 12 to sell it obviously. Word of warning. No 32gb or 64gb wifi and 4G model being sold by Tesco tonight at least. Only wifi models and 16gb wifi + 4g. Told he had about 5 of each model.

Tescos just royally mugged everyone off! The woman confused 16gb and 64gb, told everyone there was 6 in stock of 64gb but really they were 16gb.. ah well, still got one in the post for tomorrow!
Tesco can fk off with their midnight launch. Went all the way to the Extra store, the guy says we ll be selling one at 8am. Its a 24x7 store!! 
Then i called the next closest store, when I asked about iPad launch he reacted as if I was asking about a new brand of biscuits being available!!

Thank you for the info. Ordered the 64 4G and it'll be there for me at my local Waitrose on Sunday pm (away on Saturday but this was offered). Seemed to take an age to fill in the forms on iPhone though!

went to tesco middlebrook Horwich at at 12.15 expecting a que and surprised to find I was the second person. lady at the front had a list of available iPads but they were all wifi and the only 3G was the 16gb ones . I was after the 64gb 3G which I have just ordered from John Lewis to be picked up on Saturday :
Tesco Crawley had 5 or so of the 32gb wifi in black plus a few random whites when I was there an hour ago, they have a few of each at least from what I saw. only myself and another guy were queuing, even the staff didn't know they had them!
Without this thread I wouldn't of known they had them, no queuing for me tomorrow

Managed to get my iPad.
And to think, I'd be freezing my butt off outside Manchester Arndale about now..
To be honest, it should of been that easy to get this product on launch day..
So I feel like I've missed out in the queuing etcetc, but hey! At least I got my iPad!

Got my 32gb white from wrexham extra store. Only 5 of us queuing and they had a varity but no 64gb. Went to broughton first even though i was told when my local store called that they had none and they had only 16gb blacks. But had 20 and there was only one other bloke there at half 11. Tesco's are aweful to get phone calls answered though. Had to get the stores to call to get through.
Letting my iPad restore to its back up over night. I'll have a play after work tomorrow.
A part of me wishes I got the 4G! If Everything Everywhere do roll it out this year I may have to upgrade.

So after all that and being 2nd in the queue they didnt have any 64GB models. Then I drive to another Tesco who weren't even aware of any launch or new iPads in stock, to find out they only have 16GB and 32GB also. Apple store in a few hours for me it is I guess...

Wrong frequency. EE will be operating at 1800MHz, not one the 4G radio in the iPad can use.

I too went to tesco last night and picked up a 32gb white, was myself and 1 other guy there at night. Had plenty in stock when I was there.
