My girlfriend just got an original iPad its currently sitting at 4.2.1. I tried using green poison to jailbreak it but it keeps failing. What i essentially want to do is upgrade it to 4.3.3 and jailbreak so i can still have an untethered jailbreak on it. I tried using tiny umbrella to get it to update to 4.3.3 but it fails in iTunes. does cydia need to be install for tiny umbrella to work? Should i do a tethered jailbreak at 4.2.1 and then will it allow me to upgrade to 4.3.3 with tiny umbrella?
