I prefer my iPad to pretty much any laptop, email, web, Goodreader app and VPN covers 90+ percent of my daily needs. As a business tool, it's just a matter of setting it up to your specific needs.

IMO most people complain about the iPad are wanting to use it as a toy and in that aspect of its feature list yes, some probably miss flash and a camera. So I would agree, as a toy, it is missing some features people may want. As a business tool with a 10+ hour battery it's amazing.

For the record, Skyfire browser plays flash video now. Not perfect but it's possible. Main drawback that the browser seems rather laggy from what I've seen. However if you have to have flash, the playback is fine once it loads.

as most of the posters here have stated here more than a few times the ipad is a very simple device design to to this type of fuctions not this type of fuctions and when the people get going it going to replace my laptop and it does perform the fuctions of a laptop they start going off about how much a piece of garbage and do not buy it crowd ..

i have the large laptop for the socalled hardcore computer for work i need to do and i have the ipad for my personal pleasure area i like to do
 
They are way different, starting because the iPad costs half the price, but I think they are both great at their market.
