N900 is considered by many as a tablet first, phone second... so I compared below

    N900 32gb Retail $569($460 from dell)

    http://maemo.nokia.com/n900/specifications/

    3.5in
    800x480
    Tv-out
    Microusb
    5.0mp Camera
    Front Facing camera
    AGPS
    Multitask
    VIOP
MicroSDHC expansion up to 32gb(64gb total)
    .77in thick
    Wifi-g
    xvid, avi wmv support
    Flash 9.4(Soon to be 10.1)
    FM transmitter
Tiny App store(with outside sourcebanks for software)

    Ipad 32gb + 3G $729

    http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/

    9.7in
    1024 x 768
    Tv-out(with doc connector)
USB(with Dock connector, only for Pics/Videos)

How can it beat a Netbook... if he can beat a Phone/Tablet Hybrid half its size??

    You answered your question yourself

Besides, you are comparing two different category of devices... apples and oranges so to speak... no pun intended
