Yeh, I saw that one, but I was wondering what on Earth those people did to that image to put it on their website. The right hand side of the image is just a mirrored view of the original image, except for the star patterns which were copied across. Strange.

Sorry but from what we've seen so far, the proper way to do it seems to be a 1024x1024 square.

Can you guys do me (and those who don't live in the U.S. and so can't get our hands on an iPad yet) a favour and post up the iPad 'lake' wallpaper in all its high-res glory?
the ones I find online are all low res
I wan't to use it for the wallpaper of my MBP
(I'm using the low res version and it looks amazing!)

No it's not, thats to make itcompatible in both portrait and landscape modes.

NO!

but im after the one thats included in the ipad itself...the ones on the net are lower quality and tiled...which doesnt quite look as nice...but thanks for the help so far!
