iPad Wifi Speeds Very Slow

In comparing the data speeds of an iPhone 3G and an iPad, I'm consistently getting slower wifi download rates. YouTube videos are practically unwatchable.

Anyone experiencing the same thing or know why that may be? I would have expected the opposite seeing the addition of 802.11n.

There is something wrong. WIFI on my iPad is just as fast as my desktop, as tested by speedtest.net.
