All iPads iPad will NOT sell out, wait for Black Friday

I looked back to last year, Target offered a $100.00 gift card with purchase of the iPad Air. Plus there is a 5% discount if you use their Red Card. I'll be getting the 64GB version so that would save me $135.

But... I went into Walmart at midnight to try to get Beats headphones last year. It was beyond crazy! I can save $100 by buying it from AT&T with a 2 year contract. The other $35. would be the price paid to keep my sanity

Do you think they will have black friday deals for iPad mini 2 w/retina or just the new ones?

Right now I can can a new 32gb wifi only for $329 (inc. employee discount) or refurbished for $299. I wonder if I will be able to get a better deal. I need to purchase 2.

Random observation: I checked on eBay and I don't think the sellers realize the iPad mini 2 prices have dropped in price from Apple. Some sellers are still trying to sell new ones for more than what Apple is selling them for, brand new.

Last year both Best Buy and Target offered BF prices on their websites. You just need to be quick in ordering it before they run out.

I just cancelled my iPad Air 2 64GB wifi+cell order that'd I'd placed as soon as the Apple store went back up. After reading this thread I was going to wait for Black Friday and see what deals are around.

But I just thought, AT&T are already offering $100 discount if you sign a 2 year contract. Since I'd be adding the new iPad to my AT&T mobile share plan anyway it would effectively make the device fee only $5.83/month over 2 years.

Will the iPads from AT&T have the Apple Sim or their own? I'd still like the flexibility for choosing a local operator when abroad.

I'm upgrading from a 32GB iPad 2 Wifi only, maybe I should just hold out until Black Friday.

I'd rather buy now. you'll enjoy it a month longer and i hate black friday. I'm the one who stays in and sleeps instead running around early in the morning like a damn fool. save more money now and buy a refurb iPad mini or iPad air
