ipad will not turn on

tried to download a app on ipad and it will not turn on...what to do!!!!

1. Press and hold the power switch on the top for 5 seconds; does anything happen?
2. Press and hold both the power switch and the home button for 5 seconds; does anything happen?
3. Plug the iPad into wall power, wait 5 minutes; does anything happen?
4. Plug the iPad into a computer, launch iTunes, wait 5 minutes; does anything happen?

Plug it in, wait 30 mins.
Then, press and hold home and power switch for 30 secs or more.
