iPad won't back up to icloud ios9

    Since update to iOS 9.0 my iPad won't back up to the cloud. Keeps saying not enough storage available but data shows 4.5gb available out of 5.0gb total. I have tried deleting backup in iCloud it it just comes up with a message saying can't delete it! I press try again but says can't do it right now!

    You may have 4.5 GB available for your iCloud drive and backup, but how much do you have on your iPad to backup? If what you have on the iPad exceeds what's available in the cloud, you're going to get that message.
