iPad won't open links

On some sites my iPad will not open the links. Firefox use to do the same thing and I had to open with IE on my pc. Are there any browsers avail that will work and open all links?

firefox doesnt work either on my pc fwiw, only internet explorer "this site is best viewed with ie 6 or higher"

the button/link is there, but when you click nothing happens
