Long time lurker, first time poster. I searched the forums and did not find this question asked previously, so I apologize if I missed it. I've had my iPad since Thursday. 2 times, I've hit the home button or power on button, and the iPad has not turned on. If I plug it in with the charger or hold down the power and home button, the iPad turns on. I dont notice any issues with the battery being at the same percentage when I turn it back on, this is more of "is this normal" type of question.....Why is the iPad failing to turn on using the Home button? Thanks!

Hopefully you can replicate the problem for a genius at the apple store, because it sounds defective to me. Good luck.
