Ipad2 29 production week which firmware ?

Hi guyz i bought for my brother an ipad 2 just today as a present!
I can see in the back of the box the serial number and i found out that is producted on july and especialy the 29th production week!!

My question is does anyone know which firmware is on the device? Because i dont want to open the box and actiivate it as its a present! I will give it in a week 😀

So im wondering if its possible to be 4.3.3 so he can jailbreak it !
Anyone who owns an ipad 2 with 29 production week?

Week 29 should still be 4.3.3

not true..week 28 is from 11-17July2011
Apple came out with 4.3.4 on 15th July

So you may or may not want to try your luck
Anything before week 28 should be safe.

I also think that its 50/50 the chance of 4.3.3 !
If yes i d be very happy foe my brother, else he wil have to sit an enjoy it anyway till ios5 is out 😀

Sorry to revive this post, but I was wondering if you found out which firmware version came with your week 29 iPad 2. I've got one for my sister and I'm stuck in the same situation. I would appreciate your help.

My iPad 2 is week 29 production and it came with 4.3.3. Hope it helps...
