I bought a IPAD2 3G unlocked GSM from my friend real cheap because he could not remember the password. Thinking I got a deal because I could just reload it. Come to find out it was to good to be true because it will not reload. I get the error message saying 'not eligible for reload boot'. I cannot get into it because we cannot get the password.
Since I do not know the password and he never had i tunes we do not know what IOS is on it.
What can I do to take it back to a default position so I can use it? I don't mind if the GSM is unlocked or not at this point. I just want to be able to use it...
