Ipad2 / Bluetooth Headset / VOIP apps!

I have a mono (non A2DP) plantronics 520 headset, and it actually pairs with the ipad2 wifi and can be used with telephony apps. Right now I tested it with GoogleVoice and TextFree with Voice (non Ipad version). I also tested it with skype, but skype didnt seem to recognize it.

Just thought was kind of cool and didn't see it posted so wanted to share.

Also http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647 shows ipad 2 has handsfree profile.

Its been stated before that the iPad+Bluetooth Headset+VOiP Apps work well together.

To me this just seems like to much effort for what, my iPhone is always with me.

Ipad 1 didnt support the handsfree profile. Ipad2 does. Thats the difference.

But I agree that this isnt necessarily handy for all people.

What about the ipod touch? Does it support bluetooth headsets with VoIP apps like Line2 and iCall?

Talkatone works great as long as you have a google voice number to associate with it.
