Ipad2/JB for Itards...

    Hello everyone..

    I'm ed..

    I've been slumming these parts mostly as a lurker...
    been on the forum for a few years..
    Any how lets get to brass tax...


    I have the Ipad2...
    I need to save my ssh blobs..What do I use? how do i do that? any good threads on it?

    So after I do that I go to Jailbreakme.com and just jb it?
    I know I need to run 4.3.3...


    Anything else I need to know?
    Any good tut threads on the subject...

    I know iclarafied is a good.. but no info on ssh blobs...

    Uncheck request shsh from cydia. Then save your shsh blobs. If you need to restore to stock firmware you will need to uncheck "Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit". Don't worry about that now. If all you are doing is saving your blobs, you do not need to worry about starting the TSS service. Once you have your blobs saved and are on 4.3.3 go to jailbreakme.com and jailbreak. I hope that helps.

    Where is this check/uncheck box for cydia?

    I'm an itard....sorry....

    I believe it is under the advanced tab. I am not at my Mac right now so I am not 100% sure where that option is.

    Can you click save shsh now? I notice that it is grayed out in your screenshots.

    EDIT: Make sure you have selected your device by clicking on its name on the left hand side of tinyumbrella. Once you can press the save shsh button do so.

    Just did that!!!!

    Kinda got that step on my own!

    check out my previous post where I modified....I think I saved said blobs....


    So now what do i do?

    Yea, I just saw that. It looks like they saved. You should be good to go then. I assume you are on 4.3.3. If so, you can go to jailbreakme.com and jailbreak now.

    Sometimes before I learn something i just need a good push.....
    if you need any invites to any "pirated" sites just let me know..

    And yes as soon as I jb the device I am going to throw dev team 10$ for their sweet ass work......

    Hey how can I get sb settings on the old ipad2 now?
    I just need to find out where on the ipad2 I can activate the sb settings in HD....

    open cydia, let it load and update itself. click on search and search for sb settings. select it and click install

    Kind of like a jailbroken Iphone..

    i was able to figure out how to install it in cydia!!!

    god this is amazing.....

    Dreamboard looks cool...

    Man I have a ton of stuff to learn....

    what are the must have sources?
