Ipad2 - music

Can you add music to your iPad2 that you did not purchase through iTunes? (Other than using my own CD's to copy from?) I have a ton of music on my computer that will not sync up to the iPad2.

If you can play it in your iTunes library, you can sync it through iTunes.
