iPad2 sound quality

I don't know if I have just got a duff one but has anyone else noticed a difference in sound quality between iPad 1 and iPad 2? Mine certainly seems muffled and I wondered if the thinner case had something to do with it?

I've noticed that since the iPad 2's speaker is angled downward, the quality of the sound changes significantly depending on. The surface the iPad is rest on.

i personally hate that tinny little wanna be speaker, it's just there...
when watching or listening i use a pair of BT headphones

I bought a Jawbone Jambox Bluetooth speaker for listening to music and movies. Highly recommended.
