Hi, I have an ipad4. I connected usually to my latop pc via usb but now, when I plug the usb, the ipad4 go in charge but soon disconnects, and this repeats forever while the usb is plugged.
If I plug the ipad to electric charger it charges normally.
I tried with a new cable plugged to pc, nothing
I tried to plug while the pc is chargeing, nothing
can someone help me?

The PC is probably not giving out the correct current in order to charge the device, as for remaining cinnected I can only presume it is a result of the output.

Also, the port itself on your PC could have developed a fault. To check, try charging an iPhone or lightning product off the same cable, in the same port if you can?

have tried many devices, ipadmini works, ipad2 and ipad4 no, now I prevented syncing from itunes, changed again the usb port and the connection is steady...don't know if the issue will reappear...

Very odd, inconsistant. But if it fails to charge again don't be suprised as no laptop other than my recent MacBook has been able to charge an iPad 9.7" (from my experiance). But as long as it syncs that is good :)

This exact thing was happening to me so I took it in and got a free replacement lightning cable and it fixed it. Have you tried a brand-new OEM lightning cable?
