iPadOS 17.4.1 Fixes QR Code Scanning Bug

iPadOS and iOS 17.4 were both released several weeks ago.

I refuse to refer to them as different OS. it's all iOS.

What about the bug when you open a private window in safari without any other private windows/tabs open in safari and there’s no search/address bar to type in until you open a second private tab/window in safari?

There’s too many ex windows hipster donkeys working at Apple these days, and it shows.

That's funny, because there are too many Mac users working at Microsoft as UX designers and messing up the Windows UI. Maybe they should swap employees.

Hope it fixes the FaceTime bug I recently discovered on my 15 Pro Max. My audio cuts out when on speakerphone.

K-12 students using Clever that scans their badge, which is a QR code, to log in.

How do you install iPadOS on an iPhone?

Yeah, my bad, I was crossing the streams 😂 But to clarify, it was an issue on iOS 17.4 (not iPadOS) and now appears to be fixed on 17.4.1.

SCANNING STILL BROKEN for certain iPads that need to read PDF417 barcodes (used on the back of drivers licenses and on boarding passes, so not exactly obscure or rarely used) after applying the 17.4.1 patch. This bug broke functionality of key software developed for my nonprofit business. If Apple doesn’t fix it (because who cares about those cheap old iPads) then we’ll be forced to spend more for newer iPads, one more case of forced hardware upgrades due to the richest company in the world “not having resources” to continue supporting their devices.
