Nothing different, and I knew that.Curious question: What are you using those horsepowers for? Again, still on the iPad Pro from 2018 here, but there’s absolutely nothing I do with it that makes me feel “Oh this feels slow, I should probably upgrade soon”.
My iPhones got slow over time, and so did my relatives' iPads, so when shopping for my iPad I knew that the M1 was already out (in the MBA), and the amount of RAM on the older device was a concern (which I bet is THE reason why the old machines lose support). So I waited.
Once M1 dropped into the iPad, the decision was easy and the time to buy was right. I keep my devices for as long as I can and my average is around 10 years, because it's all personal, non-heavy-lifting stuff.
So a 1TB iPad with 16GB of RAM and an M2 MBA with 24GB of RAM means I'm probably good 'till the Thirties.
