When going to the App Store to update apps on your iPhone iPad after selecting your aviator (account) you no longer have to slide the window down to seek out and download app to be updated. There is now direct access in the first box to an app update screen already showing the number of and the apps to be updated.

Unless I'm not following correctly, this was there before. Prior to iOS 26.4, when I went to go check for updates, there would be a number and list of apps ready to update. I could pull down to refresh and it'd often pull in more apps. The same behavior is there in 26.4, just on a different screen.

You correct it’s now a second screen that you have to go too. You can then pull down that one and then do the update. If you pull down on the first screen nothing will happen.

Yeah it's an extra click. You could click your icon on the top right and then pull down from top to get app updates. Now you have to click your icon on top right, THEN click App Updates, then look for updates...

Of all the years I've had iOS - never understood why app updates aren't more ... consistent. Sometimes they can sit for a long time and never update, other times they update right away. I've got a bad habit of updating apps before I go out to save battery life (so it doesn't try to update when I'm out and about).
