A couple year's ago there was some threads on people having eye strain with the 10.5" pro, and later the 11" pro. For those of you who experienced eye strain with these models, are you able to use any current models without issues? I'm specifically wondering about the Air 3, Mini 5 and 12.9" pro.

I have a 3rd generation iPad Pro. It never gives me eye strain.

I use the Air 3 and it has no issues. The True Tone makes it a joy to use in various lighting and more natural, which should reduce eye strain. Also, the reflective screen on all iPads can strain your eyes more too, so a cheap anti-glare matte protector can make all the difference. The Air 3 and Pro have laminated screens which are much easier to look at for longer than the base entry model.

Any more detail as to why (they thought) they were getting eye strain with those models? Can't say I've heard of that myself. Theoretically, the 12.9 should be the best as it's the biggest so you can hold it further away from your eyes.
