without too much of a rigmarole its a questionof colors as well
get the red ( second choice in color ) one from Costco for $530( it’s 630 , my 6 plus is $100 value trade in) rn
or wait till the 15th to get the purple ( first choice ) Apple will probably have it for $599 BUT I don’t think they will trade in the 6 plus ( it’s $50 trade in rn)
I am with T-Mobile
Thanks for any input

Only get rid of your 6 Plus if you've already got a backup iPhone. If you don't have a backup iphone, don't get rid of the 6+. $100 isn't worth being stuck with one phone.

The case started splitting on my two year old 8Plus bought the iPhone 11, but they would not give me anything in trade because of the case.

So don't wait until it's to late, i am very happy with the 11 but after the 12 is a year old and getting good reviews i will trade the 11 in on one.

Doesn't Costco have a 90 return policy. That's plenty of time to try and also watch what's coming out new and then return.

I think they do but it doesn’t apply to all products they sell. I think Apple products are treated differently. Probably depends on how Costco is treated when they attempt to give problematic units back to them.

Every year there is new phones some have been very good, others not so good this is why i don't buy the newest phones.

Then there is the problems with buying a new phone, having to keep watching for insurance scams, and having them charge something you did not want to both your credit card and also to your phones provider.

I find it a never ending fight to keep having to call services to get the extra charges removed.

If your dealing with the new Sprint/T Mobil be on guard for the Sprint Plus Insurance / Apple Care Combo, they will stick it on your phone even when you tell them you don't want it.

Point is, if the OP is thinking of dealing with Costco, all he has to do is ask them. They have always been very lenient with returns. In general, the only items they usually limit to 90 days are electronics. I personally have returned an iPad at almost 60 days.

The 15th of what? The iPhone 12 wont be out for months. They literally just started production.

Yeah, I only wanted to express that it might vary by product category. Just checked my Canadian Costco site, looks like 90 days for tablets.

And of course you are right, contact the seller company for the details if in doubt.

Costco’s customer service is usually great, one can’t do much wrong by buying from there.

Maybe i just don't understand this thread i first thought it was the OP needed a new Phone to replace an older phone, but it looks like it's more of getting a phone to use for a short time returning it and buying the newest phone.

Iam the OP , no it’s not at all about using a short time and returning it. The other posters just mentioned that because i am getting the phone from costco
its literally just about getting the iPhone 11 Now ( discounted ) or waiting for the iPhone 12 announcement to see if there are better deals.
its all about the money lol

Unless you absolutely need a new phone right now, wait until the new phones are released, and you can make a better informed decision with facts, instead of asking strangers who don’t pay your bills to guess with you.

Dude you need to find a new hobby. Every post you comment on is the same thing “they just started production. iPhone 12 wont be out for months”. It’s getting tiresome seeing you post the same comments.

Hey I thought the whole point of public forums is to make strangers guess with you 😆
